SABR members react to #SABRDay

The Society for American Baseball Research (SABR) held SABR Day in celebration of its 50th Anniversary. The two-hour virtual conference was led by Baseball Hall of Fame president Tim Mead and MLB Network broadcaster Bob Costas.

Costas, the 2018 recipient of the Ford C. Frick Award from the National Baseball Hall of Fame, told legendary stories and answered virtual questions.

Mead spent nearly four decades in the Los Angeles Angels organization, including 22 years as Vice President of Communications, before assuming oversight of operations of the Hall of Fame nearly two years ago.

Baseball fans and SABR members in attendance praised Costas, Mead and SABR for a job well done.
